March Recap!

In years past, March is typically a pretty quiet month as we prepare for wedding season. But so much has changed over the last few years; with our growing team and a rise in more winter/early Spring weddings it seems we just don’t have much of a slow season anymore (no complaints here!). March has proved to be a pretty eventful month around the Flower Cottage so we thought we’d do a little recap in case you missed out on any of the fun!

Spring weddings are here!

We had 2 beautiful spring weddings this month and it’s feeling like wedding season is in full swing. Britney & Dustin’s classic white wedding at the Wintergarden at PPG Place was nothing short of stunning! The soft fluffy white blooms and romantic whites were the perfect transition from winter into spring. Cut to the Hall of Sculpture at Carnegie Museum for Monika & Albi’s pastel spring palette with more vibrant, saturated hues and we’re fully ready to embrace all the color! Cloe led the team on both of these stunning weddings, and we can’t wait to see the professional photos come back!

This was even more magical once the sun went down and the candles were lit!

72’ of fresh floral runners were jaw dropping in this space!

We got a sign!

Our Talk Pittsburgh Appearance!

We were so excited to return to Talk Pittsburgh and share all of our spring flower tips! We showed a few tricks like how to cut your spring branches to stay hydrated indoors and a simple way to transform your grocery store tulips. We love chatting with Heather and the Talk Pittsburgh team! Check out our segment here!

Played with local flowers at our Spring Workshop!

We had a full group for our spring centerpiece workshop and it was the BEST time working with all the beautiful colors and local flowers! We sourced daffodils and tulips locally and they were some of the most stunning blooms. Already looking forward to our next seasonal workshop!
