A Moody Spring Wedding at Carnegie Music Hall

3 years later to the date and we’re still swooning over Heidi and Tom’s wedding flowers!! We love a bride that goes for it and doesn’t worry about the “rules”. During our floral consult Heidi was drawn to the darker, moodier colors but felt slightly conflicted with her Spring wedding.  Our advice? Do whatever you want!!

Just because your wedding is in April doesn’t mean you have to work within a pastel color palette. Some of our most favorite spring flowers come in rich, dark hues. (Anemone, ranunculus & hellebores we’re looking at you) So we paired the deeper burgundy and plum colors with berry, light pink and blush tones and the result was romantic, elegant and a bit dramatic— the perfect fit for her Carnegie Music Hall location.

All of the details came together beautifully thanks to the skillful planning of Kim at Olive & Rose events. If you’re looking for a moody and elegant flower inspiration feast your eyes at all the beautiful imagery by Abbie Tyler Photography and pin away!
