DIY Bottle Brush Tree Wreath
Supplies you need
Wreath base
We used a gold metal ring base to attach our greenery and embellishments to with wire. You could use an already designed holiday wreath to attach the trees to!
Spool Wire
We cut small pieces of wire about 5-8” long (depending on the size of your wreath base) to attached the bottle brush trees to our wreath!
Bottle Brush Trees
Be sure to grab a few different sizes for dimension and interest. The bigger your wreath base, the bigger you can go with the size of your bottle brush trees. We love the cute mini ones!
The process
It couldn’t be easier to attached the bottle brush trees to your wreath! Lay your piece of wire flat on a work surface and place the bottle brush tree in the center of the wire. You want the wire to be at the base of the bottle brush tree, right above its little stand. If you work the wire into the tree itself you could bend the bristles and ruin the shape of the tree, so keep your wire at the bottom! Cross each end of wire over to the other side and tighten so you have 2 tails coming out of your bottle brush tree. Place the tree where you’d like it on your wreath and cross the wires again to twist behind your wreath so it’s attached. This time, don’t twist really tight, but rather loose to make sure your bottle brush tree lays the way you’d like it to on your wreath before tightening the wire.
After the season is over, you can simply cut the wire to remove your bottle brush trees from your wreaths and store them away for next year! There are so many ways you can incorporate bottle brush trees into your holiday decor! Happy decorating!
