Current Flower Trends

Flower trends come and go, and as Pittsburgh wedding florists, we've noticed that the trends you see on social media and in magazines take a little longer to reach our market. While classic white and green weddings remain timeless, there are couples who love to embrace current wedding trends, and we're here for all of it! Ultimately, your wedding day should reflect you and your significant other, your styles, and your life together. We've rounded up current flower trends that are here to stay through the 2025 season!

Petite Bridal Bouquets
Think royal wedding vibes! A small bouquet that still packs a beautiful punch and complements the fashion elements of the day. With colorful moments, floral prints, and embroidered veils trending in bridal fashion, it makes sense to choose a smaller bouquet that doesn't overpower the look. Petite bouquets, often packed with texture, are just as lovely as their larger counterparts.

Baby's Breath
Texture is hot right now, especially baby's breath! Whether used as a filler in a white flower palette or as the feature in a cloud-like installation, baby’s breath gives a soft and ethereal feel to your decor.

Color and flower Blocking
This trend involves featuring the colors from your palette together. Often times color blocking will lend to an ombre look. Flower blocking is also hot—think same flower varieties grouped in one area of the arrangement or their own vases. As designers, this is so much fun to play with. We can focus on colors and shades, rather than specific flower varieties, making it a fun design challenge with interesting results!

Color
Bright color palettes, earthy color palettes, moody color palettes—couples in 2024 and 2025 are really leaning into color, and we're having so much fun with it!

Meadow Florals
Adorning the ceremony aisle, around your cake, or even as a centerpiece, organic arrangements heavy in flowers and greenery, as if they're growing from the ground, are trending! We love creating these pieces because they offer a truly stunning and romantic look.

Large Focal Statement Pieces
More couples are leaning into installations and keeping their table looks simple. Think of a huge hoop of hanging flowers over the dance floor, while the surrounding tables glow with candlelight and simple bud vases. We love this look because statement pieces not only make a big impression but are also seen from many areas and in photos, whereas centerpieces are enjoyed during the dinner hour and don't have as big an impact on the decor.

These trends have been popular with our 2024 clients, and it seems they’re not going anywhere in 2025. We’re thrilled to continue creating stunning floral designs that reflect these trends!
