We’re looking for an Inventory Assistant to join our team at Sapphire & Lace Design. This position is all about keeping our studio running smoothly by managing inventory and assisting with post-event cleanup and wedding prep. You’ll be handling tasks like cleaning and organizing glassware, counting and labeling supplies, and ensuring everything is in its place for our next event.

While this role isn’t focused on floral design, it’s perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a creative, fast-paced environment, can lift 40 lbs, and takes pride in making things neat, tidy, and ready to shine!

Job Title: Assistant Inventory Manager
Location:
Sapphire & Lace Design
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10am-4pm

Compensation: $23/hour

Job Overview:
The Inventory Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the studio runs smoothly by focusing exclusively on inventory management. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to assist with post-event cleanup and preparation for upcoming weddings. Please note, this is not a design position, and you will not be asked to work with flowers or create floral designs. Your work will ensure that our inventory is well-maintained, properly organized, and ready for each event as well as our inventory space is kept organized and tidy.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Inventory Manager with post-event tasks, including:

  • Cleaning up from the previous week’s events.

  • Composting and disposing of floral waste.

  • Counting and organizing inventory.

  • Cleaning and storing glassware.

Help prepare for the upcoming weddings by:

  • Pulling, cleaning, packing, and labeling inventory.

  • Packing and organizing tools and supplies for wedding day needs.

General maintenance of inventory:

  • Receiving new inventory items, counting and unboxing items, organizing and labeling items

  • Updating our online inventory system 

  • Keeping the inventory space tidy, organized and functional by assisting with inventory space projects, etc.
